I'm on my fourth SAAB so I must like them. OK they have all been GM models, 93, 93 convertible, 95 and now 93 estate - twin turbo. This must be one of the last ones off the production line, it's not even 3 years old yet.

Mike Sometimes we just have to let it go. Did that with my white one when it ate the cam chain. £2000 to fix it £1700 for a P reg to replace a W Wish I'd kept the white one

If you are ever on the West coast of Sweden, the Saab museum at Trollhattan is well worth a visit and they have all the models you could ever hope for, including the Sonett. It is about an hour's drive from Gothernburg. There is also a good science/engineering museum there. Pleasant town as well but, as ever in rural Scandinavia, don't expect fine dining...

My mechanic is not positive about the long term prospects, but I kept the W Reg going way longer than he thought previously.
I like the car a lot. It gives me everything I need on the rare occasions I use it
