Here's the thread where you can post some of your favourite classical performance videos!
To get things going, here is something I personally find very special. Performing the Bruch Violin Concerto, I present the mighty Kyung Wha Chung, playing in her absolute prime with the Bournemouth Symphony conducted by Paavo Berglund in 1974. Such a truly radiant performer, I will let the music speak for itself.

Cameron Carpenter on Organ - Chopin Revolutionary Etude
Superb playing, how he works the pedals in heels leaves me speechless.

Phew, can't say I cared much for the music but the playing was certainly rather impressive (pity about his shirt )

Hi Andrei, I couldn't agree more and am so pleased you enjoyed the Bruch!
Kyung Wha Chung concentrates mainly on teaching nowadays, with a few concert appearances aswell but I am still hoping that I might see her perform live one day - a truly beautiful lady and artist.
Her recordings for Decca are exceptional -
SXL 6493 - Tchaikovsky and Sibelius Concertos SXL 5673 - Bruch Concerto and Scottish Fantasia SXL 6601 - Walton and Stravinsky Concertos SXL 6759 - Saint Saens & Vieuxtemps Concertos

Oh superb. I shall follow this thread with interest. Won't be able to post much up though due to pig ignorance. My apologies.

Wonderful. The Dvorak is my favourite cello concerto.

Wonderful. The Dvorak is my favourite cello concerto. Isserlis plays very well I think, the passage from 9:54 is particularly beautiful. I like the Dvorak too, it's fiendishly difficult to play.

There are quite a few PYTs (Pretty Young Things) out there but Chung is tops to me. Not sure if you are into poetry but these lines could have been written for her: (I have been up that Tower, which goes by the name of the poem - it is truly special) The Pearl of the Orient In great Shanghai there is agirl Who does not talk but only sings. Her skin, it shines, it's like a pearl And when she smiles she gives you wings. You can find her close to the moon Top a pearl tower, with wind in her face. She sings, and you fly, seduced by her tune And your heart disappears, without a trace.
