That reminds me...
In the 70's when black trench coats seemed to be in fasion, I was in in Woolies with mine on. After a while I looked around at those in the store and there was a number of blokes with them on. It looked a bit like a Humphrey Bogart convention.

Although we are both big softies over Christmas, and will doubtless do a stocking for each other, we have vowed to make it modest due to budget over-runs Officially, my Christmas present is a pool heater - which has been installed a couple of months now I fancy that Uncle Fester coat though...  |

Afghan Haha, me too - I looked the business in my Afghan with purple loon pants Kept me nice and cosy queuing up for tickets outside box offices - no bollox Ticketmaster in those days, put the time in and you were guaranteed a good seat. Queued overnight in me Afghan for ELP outside Wembley. |

Mind you, it's arriving this week and I've had to pay for it myself. eBay are having a "get 8x Nectar points" event, so I've consoled myself with the fact that I got almost fifty-six quid back in points.
