Thanks chaps - the weather was incredibly mixed and changeable so many pix lent themselves to b/w …
I have to say that Rosenborg Castle, where all the ‘objets d’art’ photos are to be found, is possibly the greatest treasure trove I have ever been to. Each room is packed to the gills with the absolute finest in craftsmanship, in every conceivable material. It is simply majestic. And to finish it off they have the Crown Jewels in the basement.

I remember the crown jewels as being particularly stunning. At the castle, we kept chuckling at the ever present levitating horse portraits that seemed to be festooned on what began to seem like almost every wall...

I know what you mean!
I was thinking that if the right kind of work was there, I could quite happily live in or near Copenhagen.
Having a family now doesn't make that very practical now though.
I'm keen to visit the countryside which of course will have a very different vibe.
