OK chaps I promised a little report on my trip to Copenhagen 
For me, the city is simply magical and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
It is brimming with history, art, architecture and culture. And it has the fabulous Tivoli Gardens amusement park for the kids ( and adults ... )
The people are exceptionally friendly. There is a wonderfully relaxed air to the place, a lack of stress, which I find in total contrast to London.
In turn, you are encouraged to relax yourself. We could learn a thing or two from these guys. It's also very civilised and patient - all pedestrians wait at the traffic lights, as do the cyclists!!
The downside? It is expensive. Hotels and eating out are definitely pricey. But to make up for that the flights can be ridiculously cheap. We flew with Ryanair and came back on Norwegian.
