Ive bought one of these. Does anyone have any old reviews from the day [1987].. Its getting a complete rebuild. TKD 610 Pot & OPA2134 IC etc..

I have one of those too.
I don't ever recall seeing anything I would call a proper review anywhere. HFN didn't review stuff from their accessories club and none of their competitors would have done much to promote it. There's a very good chance I still have the copy from when it first appeared, where there would have been a few more paragraphs about it than in later issues, almost certainly written by KK.
It was a Tim de P design, I seem to remember.
I shall take a look on my heaving shelves of ancient magazines for you Andre, me ol' mucker.

Tim de Paravicini and Ben Duncan between them seemed to design most of the accessories club components.

I changed the pot on mine to a Sfernice. It's mounted near the rear of the unit with a loooooooooooooooooong connecting rod to the front panel.

Thats right Chris pot is close to the Sockets, which makes good sense. I have a Sfernice PII VYN pot i used for the DIY Passive pre i made years ago..
