I wonder, for those of us who have voted it a 10, if it's one of those "I guess you had to be there" albums. Possibly , I was there but not listening to that sort of music in fact I was oblivious to it , I do listen to folky/acoustic these days though .

I have been listening again today and have reassessed it as 9/10, basically because i am not sure it is one of those albums I will play all of the time, that's the primary difference for me.

I keep going back and listening again, but it's really not doing it for me. 5/10 it remains.

I wonder, for those of us who have voted it a 10, if it's one of those "I guess you had to be there" albums. I was 'there'. Not sure why I didn't listen to it then. Maybe I heard it back then and put it behind me. Approached as a classic and disappointed. What was I doing in 1973....... Holland - Beach Boys For girls who grow plump - Caravan In a glass house - Gentle Giant Greenslade self titled Lifemask - Roy Harper Larks Tongues in aspic - King Crimson Birds of fire - Mahavishnu Back into the Future -Man Living in the USA - Steve Miller Stranded - Roxy Music Welcome - Santana Steve Stills Manassas - Down the road The smoker you drink the player you get - Joe Walsh Quadrophenia - The Who Chameleon in the Shadow of night - Peter Hammill Twice removed from yesterday - Robin Trower Looks like I was otherwise occupied
