Amused me no end when I was in France years ago. French lady running the camp site looked at my passport. Baffled, silence for a while. Messieur Gree ?

The faceless bugger who outbid me for a Les Paul I really fancied on eBay ground my gears yesterday. Today...perhaps not so much.
Bloody Hell, don't tell me I'm mellowing. That would really grind my gears.

It's pretty! Locking tuners too. The one thing I really don't like is the binding over the fret ends - in my book the fret ends should be above the binding, which is something they do with the HP Les Pauls. Not that I'm recommending one - there's too much "urgh!!!" stuff with them (the HP Les Pauls)

Calling you out on that one André. Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits from 1971 has all of the great songs they did with Peter Green, and it's the only album by that lineup that's worth having.

Bosses that tell you lies, Why the hell they just dont come out with the truth is beyond me. Yep, I was regularly told by my management at my previous company to be conservative with the truth when updating my team, I just ignored him.

That's a really nice colour Paul ... The "Standard" is the model that I want and as soon as I saw that one with the Bourbon Burst finish I started coveting it. About the only finish I've really ruled out though is the Cherry Sunburst and it's Heritage variation.

Tell you want grinds my gears: pedants. You know, the kind of people who would point out the fact that the album had more than one line-up on it (three, in fact). Tossers, the lot of 'em

Last Friday coming home from work I was sitting behind some large bloke on the bus who was constantly (and I mean constantly) turning his head from left to right. Occasionally, it was stationary when he was looking forward. For a moment I wondered if it might not be a tic. But standing waiting for the bus, he showed no sign of it. Anyway, it was really getting on my wick.

Perhaps he was powering the bus?
