Irony!?! Irony!?! I think it's lost on some. And some peoples sense of irony varies so best keep it for special occasions. Do you greet a person for the first time you meet them with an ironic comment? BTW good to see the impartiality expressed. Refreshing compared with other forums. Also the lack of adverts is refreshing. |

Another typical response from you, as I've said previously. You do seem to have certain propensity for, whatever reason, showing up and taking something of a pop at me. That's the internet for you, I suppose.
Would I greet someone for the first time with an ironic comment? Could do. Could do. I could imagine Eric Morcombe doing so - so why not?
And your home forum is, of course, a bastion of impartiality.
Problem with the adverts? I simply don't look at them. Works for me - Sunshine.

So, back to mrsdocYou have to see that not all of us have been rude despite the strong suggestion that you might be Richard himself. Be that as it may, you thanked us for our impartiality but baited us about Richard. Everything is documented here on TAS so that each member can form their own opinion. We remain impartial although everyone has their opinions. We have not been rude to you and we have not banned you. Where do we go from here, or do we just call it a day and close this thread? |

I spent an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at Richard's place at a turntable bake off. Was probably back in 2010 or even earlier?
The internet can be a strange place.
It will be years before we all learn to use it in a sensible way. Perhaps it will never happen but I live in hope.
Focusing on how to exercise the Emotional Quotient EQ and not just IQ, that we have been programmed to believe is so important for generations, will I think will get us a long way.

Mr. Dunn has said harsh words about me and my designs, but now as I will treat him and all with respect, if deserved, he has been kind and helpful. He was like many of us when another horrid  woman ruled this Island was treated badly and as sales died due to TAX changes etc lots of good small UK companies died allowing the imports of Far East crap to rule like invading rats the UK Hi-fi scene, other companies who survived jumped on the band wagon and had there kit made in the Far East Image and we killed our own industry dead. "So treat others as you would like to be treated" I wonder who said that what wise words.  |

Nadia: thank you for your post and, once again, we bear no malice towards Richard or NVA.
Richard: there is no point in going over old ground. Perhaps even you would agree that you and forums do not make for peaceful coexistence. Your time here was fraught with conflict and we simply couldn't bear it any longer or have you drive other members away.
There will never be a ban on the discussion of NVA products here on TAS and I personally have every admiration for your designs. Remember also that two of the Admin team bought your products and still use them.
Perhaps face to face we could have a friendly chat one day, I'm sure you're a different man from your forum persona. Until then...
