... Speaking of which, have you seen Blade Runner 2049, Paul? I've got so much to watch, and to listen to, that I've put off buying it for the time being. The longer I wait the more the price will go down though.

Another interesting movie done entirely with rotoscoping is Waking Life (2001) - starring Ethan Hawke and Wiley Wiggins, that kid that played the main character in Dazed and Confused.
It's super out there though, the closest thing I've seen to a dream on film. It's nothing to watch at a party or anything. Just characters walking around their worlds getting into random abstract conversations about existence with strangers while they and their surroundings seem to morph a bit visually due to the rotoscoping effect.

I think "The Father Thing" was possibly the best episode yet, if only because it wasn't reliant on special effects and/or dystopian landscapes. It was a good mash-up of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Invaders from Mars but written before "...Bodysnatchers" was made. Definitely worth a watch.

Ah, thanks Paul. I will watch that now. So disappointed with the series so far I didn't bother

I liked The Father Thing, all the menace was in not seeing much obvious external change. In fact the 'thing' crawling out at the end was entirely unnecessary.

It was a bit like adding an exclamation mark, rather than a full stop, but I thought it worked in so much as it made the final scene more powerful, as we knew exactly what the boy was trying to rally support against. It gave 'evil' a face, as they say. Here's PKD's description, from the original short story... In the original, the creatures controlled human bodies from close by, remotely, rather than from the inside.

Autofac was quite good. It might put you off using Amazon though.

I've just watched the last one, "Kill All Others". Very chilling and some vignettes, like the wrist diagnostic machine that 'reports to HR' and the focussed adverts getting in your face, could so likely become reality in the future.

I think that one captured the spirit of P.K.D. better than any of the others.
