I've been listening to headphones a lot here recently because we have a young baby next door and I like my music quite loud so it was good to listen to my hifi for a few hours again. I must admit it sounds good to my ears.
Happy listening

Good stuff, Tim. I don't do a lot of headphone listening these days but I did enjoy them a couple of nights ago when on the PC, plugging the 668Bs into my old Caiman/Gator.

Babies don't need silence, they need to get used to noise, they came from a noisy environment and the quicker they get used to external noise the better. No need to creep around them, this just creates more problems in that any noise when then easier them if they're used to quiet.
So play your music and don't worry about the baby, ok I don't mean blasting it out 😂

With that being said I do agree that baby's need to adjust to their environment, my best mate used to play his music real loud and his kids used to sleep right thru it because their used to it

Leo seems to be fine with it and can sleep through anything so far

On that note, wifey has popped to the hospital with Leo (nothing bad) so I have the house to myself, so I might have to have a bit of a music session

Some years back I went to hear a system. The 2 small kids were just going to bed in the room next door.
To my amazement the volume was very high. The kids were used to it and slept, not quite sure how.
