I'm tempted by Bowmore 15 for 40 quid on Amazon. Any fans? You'll be lucky! They've just stopped non-essential deliveries. Maybe it'll show as groceries.... It is essential, we need whisky now and lots of it.

That would be a bridge too far and an offence to civilised society.
And there will be hell to pay if they don't deliver my Blu-ray tomorrow ...
Actually from what I read they are delivering as usual but have stopped the usual flow of non-essential goods from 3rd party sellers to their warehouses.

Social media are always advising us to keep ones spirits up, so I took that advice and courtesy of Ocardo today. bb

Glendronnach 12 - epic fail! Imagine a 'Werther's Original' whisky - sickly sweet caramel, butter and toffee syrup. Well that's what this is and it isn't subtle. Yuck!!! Disappointing much, as I had been meaning to try this for so long. Maybe it will grow on me but I doubt.

Ha, yes sorry, perhaps I should clarify as not wanting to demean your manliness … My mrs likes a ‘lighter floral citrus style’ of whisky, particularly Speyside so this could go down well.

I find something like the Glenlivet 15 years to be a pretty safe n complex dram without licking a block of peat

I very much enjoyed my first bottle of Revival, I now have a second bottle waiting for me to open it. In the meantime I have a Glendronach Parliament 21 to finish... it's good but not as characterful as Revival 15.

A lovely sippin whisky this one, the complexity imparted from the double barrel maturation nicely present on the palate. subaru impreza 0 60 time

Balvenie 12 year old is very sippable. By un-lucky-hap too many Ocado whisky aficionados seem to concur, currently showing OUT OF STOCK grrrrrrrr.
