I think he means the valves  If that's the case it's a rather silly argument unless Schiit make a solid state digital valve buffer that I don't know about.  I suppose it was stupid of me to think that someone on a hi-fi forum was actually comparing two similar products i.e. DACs |

I've hooked up my little bear headphone amp to my pc and i'm well happy with the results .Not bad for £20.00 including shipping

Slinger i was referring to the Schiit 'Magni 2' headphone amp. Im not sure where a DAC comes into the opening post!

Your post about "backwards technology" came directly after the pic I posted and the only thing in the pic that's comparable to anything that Schiit make is the DAC, which is why I used it as an example. I thought you were discussing the quality of Chinese kit in general, I didn't realise you were talking headphone amps specifically. |
