I would dearly love to go hifi and vinyl shopping in Japan!
In the meantime I'm enjoying this YouTuber giving us a taste of what to expect - masses of totally drool-worthy gear in huge stores we just don't get in England.
I just love his enthusiasm - like a kid in a candy store!

I had a colleague who went regularly to the Far East on 'hifi scouting' trips.
His experience was that you have to be VERY careful what you buy as there are so many clones about, especially cartridges.
That mainly applied to Hong Kong, but I suspect true to some extent also in Japan, where the label may mean more than whether it sounds good !

What we need is a TAS Tokyo Tour! Now that would be fun ...

Sometimes I watch his videos. Very interesting stuff! Plenty reviews on his channel too.
