It's not like they were that special before. I had a 2nd hand 10P as a temporary fix waiting for my 405-2 to be properly mended and "competent, just" is probably the kindest I can manage

I've never been a particularly big fan of their kit, I found it far too warm for my tastes.

yes the Arcam gear that I heard back in the day wasn't exactly the last word in 'neutrality' ... warm, coloured and lacking in resolution as I remember.

I agree with the above view of mediocre performance up till now. Maybe Harman / Samsung will provide much needed new ideas?

I never found anything they made sounded as good as my old A&R Cambridge 'A60'. The 'A75'/'P75' i later bought as a supposed replacement i could never get on with the same.
