Call me a suspicious old bugger...no, please do, I don't mind...but looking at the prices of all of their other variations on tube dampers, which are pretty standard, or in my language, bloody extortionate, I'd wonder why this particular item was so cheap.

That may be because they are simply hi temp silicon automotive o rings that are advertised as tube dampers....... Which is probably what most of them are anyway

I personally do not believe in any of this, but would not covering the whole Tube in Heat shrink not do the same supposid thing? or is it important to see the valve instead?

Well, actually, it was exactly my thought too. Which is why I tried to see how much 24mm silicon O-rings cost. This is what I found£2.11 for ten. I rest my case!

But if you order them from China they're £1.29 for 20 with free postage. Chinese O ringsYou'll also see that the ad uses exactly the same images. I pick up your resting case and drop-kick it into the bushes.
