Either way, with both Sagan and Cavendish out, the sprints will be a little less interesting. Cav looked like he was coming back on form, and Sagan looked very strong.

Great shame for all of us.
Watching it again as served up so many times
Sagan out of order but not DQ

I think Cav handled it very well discussing it on the post accident interview.

Assume because they are friends
Not what a mate would do.
Demar should also have been penalised

Watch ITV4 today at 7pm or catch one of the other highlights sown later for one of the most exciting and eventful stages I have ever seen.
Bike racing at its most exciting, tactical and very surprising

Some pretty bad crashes yesterday, and 5 more riders dropped out. Thankfully Richie Porte is not too badly injured considering the nature of the incident.

Good to know that G and Richie do not need surgery at least. Hell of a descent

I was in Laissac at the weekend to see the TDF. Saturday night I was in the Brother in law's restaurant and had the pleasure of meeting Laurent Jalabert and Cyrille Guimard.

Do they seem like nice guys ?
Staggering racing over the weekend.
The Tour and perhaps all pro cycling is becoming harder and harder

They were very friendly and approachable. Happy to have their pictures taken.
The weekend was incredible. It is far from over.

Thanks. Great to hear. I always liked Jalabert when he was racing. Had a horrific accident in one Tour
The weekend opened up the race. AG2R attacking like that was incredible. Aru lost the plot as well as the lead. Froome dug himself out of the poo. Uran looking pretty good

All over for another year. Strong Tour this year
What will I do to fill 4-5 hours of watching per day. Withdrawal symptoms setting in
Vuelta starts late August though.....

The Vuelta has started. ITV4 at varying times, usually 7 or 10 pm with a a repeat later on.
Looks like it's Froome's to lose. He does look very powerful
