It's worth the argument if you're not happy with the workmanship. Tell them you'll complain to the manufacturer if they don't want to fix it.

Just gets better.Took the car into a dealer to have some reverse sensors fitted. Job done the Mrs drove it back home. I come to washing the car Sunday, i noticed the the middle two sensors are not level, one is 1/4" Higher than the other, Ive bought a Bumper protector that has a slight lip, this fitted makes them stand out even more.. The sensors have been colour matched in a different shade to the car & now the Wife says they aint even working when reverse parking! As far as im concerned the Bumper now needs changing. They have clearly not measured before drilling the holes. There is no point getting the sensors to work when im not happy about the bumper situation, am i in my rights to demand a new bumper? That would drive me crazy , as an ex-Machine tool fitter I spot things like that immediately , its a curse but its got to be right , get them to sort it !

Guy at works engine knackered up on his Audi. £5,000 repair but he argued it out and after a fortnights hassle the bill was split between Audi and the dealer.
Two points - no1 it shouldn't happen No2 - the dealer was a bawbag.
Then....after all that the car was returned with a new engine....but no oil in it!!
Unbelievable.

Cars are another pain in the arse, i could do without. I was horrified when the wife decided she wanted to drive, ive avoided it for donkies years but my worse fear has happened, now i feel im in constant worry about her safety & anyone scratching the car, like today some twat put a ting dint & a couple of scratches in the driver side door while she was in the supermarket.. That friggin car was near perfect apart from the bumper which will be replaced next week.

When I first got my car I was always worrying about little scratches on it - now I don't give a monkey's and feel much better for it ... It's done 134K now and is lucky if it gets an occasional wash ,,, As long as it is serviced and safe, I'm happy.

Dude - trust me, I also have OCD but I have learnt to worry about more important things. Very difficult and took a long time.

I've had brand new cars. Horrid waste of money. Used to protect my car as a super valuable asset. It's not My car is an infrequently used tool. I've washed it about three times in the ten or so years I've had it. Do more miles on the bike. Currently also in need of a wash

Oh dear, did they make the mistake of starting it? Yeah, well they handed it back to the lad who then drove it for about 30 miles when the light came on. He then topped it up.
