The forums looking pretty good gents.
One thing I miss for quick and clear navigation is having the folder structure displayed at the top, so I can go back to the folder the discussion was in.
I don't know this place well enough yet so here's a made up example:
Home/speakers/electrostatics
I know the file structure here is pretty light (a good thing IMO) but it would just !take it quicker and easier to navigate to have this visible regardless.

Lol I've just seen you have it, doh!
Could you make the chevrons splitting them in slightly brighter colours to help them stand out?

Instead of making a million posts, I all add another thought here. I liked it on the aos when you could select the number of posts per page, I had mine to 50 instead of 15, it saves loading loads of pages and you can actually get on and read, I'd set it to 100 if I could!
This would make things a lot more convenient.

On the first point, if you hover over start of the breadcrumb trail, the menu structure The Audio Standard expands and further expands if you hover down a level, at each point showing NEW if you have unread posts. I find this brilliant!
On the second point, as you have discovered, you can use the same breadcrumb trail to go back a level very quickly.

I know I should know the 'breadcrumb trail' Can you remind me and perhaps a few others does he mean the feature whereby you right click while the cursor is over the back button on your browser? certainly firefox shows you how you got to this point by doing that(right click whilst cursor over the back button)

Don't think it's that (could be !)
I did know what it meant, just had no use for it since I found out

If you look just below the main menu you have an arrowed bar reading:
The Audio Standard > Forum Suggestions > Another navigational point
That is the breadcrumb trail. You can click back one level to Forum Suggestions, or two levels to The Audio Standard.
You can also hover over The Audio Standard and expand the menu tree.
