I sense a business opportunity. Mr bricolage strimmer line is metal impregnated hard plastic for about a fiver for 25 metres. But electric fence wire is everywhere on 100m rolls. OK, you're going to have to get it taught.

Red tipped welding rods are supposed to be another method of removing static, not tried it myself but plenty info available about how effective they are.
I get lots of static at times so I'd be keen to try anything ( cheap ) to get rid of it.

...without actually melting your records! Lol yeah, static seems to affect new LPs rather than older ones in my collection, I think it must be how they're made these days?

I wonder if anyone has ever heard of this? £250 per roll 😱 I'll go back to buying welding rods I think. Mind you 10m and unlimited lifespan means one roll would cover a lot of turntables 😉 I only emailed Arcalian 5 minutes ago and they replied already so well done for that.

Err...yes. Jake said it was expensive. Didn't realise just how expensive! I suppose you only need enough to cover an LP so it's cheap enough if it was a group buy. Commercial HiFi product using the discord being developed right now and I bet it works out at more then £25 a metre 😉 I thought about buying a roll and selling off most of it in shorter pieces. Anyone interested?

I would be very interested - I already have a design in mind.

Yes, new ones for me but a day or two in a Nagaoka anti-static inner sleeve kills the static completely.
