Several members have noticed that Spotify track links work fine, but not album links. For example:
Spotify album URI
Spotify track URI
I have reported this to ProBoards support for investigation. Meanwhile, the workaround is to post the first track of an album when discussing albums.

Excellent, well done Martin. Top marks to Proboards for acknowledging the query so promptly too...

It looks like the Spotify album link bug will be fixed soon.

As you will see from post #1 above, Spotify Album links now work fine. Always remember to right-click the track title or album title in the Spotify application and select Copy Spotify URI, then just paste it into a post.

Good news - Spotify have just reversed their silly decision to remove the Copy Spotify URI right-click menu item from the Spotty application. It has now been restored in the latest version. Thank goodness! You can paste URIs directly into TAS just as before...

I didn't realise this was news - I was doing this over the weekend. If I'd have known I would have told ya!

If I'd have known I would have told ya! I just hand-built the links, but it was painful. You have to convert this... [spotify id="album:14xxjLlbGy8ACm4MorBjD5"] ...to this: [spotify id="album:14xxjLlbGy8ACm4MorBjD5"]

Could that be done automagically ?
I could change it in FoxPro if the character length stayed exactly the same

No need now, just update the Spotify app and you have Copy URI back again. Just paste into TAS.

No, the Spotify application. Not web version, which never had Copy URI as far as I know. Another reason not to use it.

Due to Grooveshark wanting money off me I went looking for a couple of albums on Spoty
Not there

Ah well, I do pay Spotty but then I use it a lot and more often than not I find what I want, classical too.

Can't get the spotify link to work. All I get when I've copied the link is a blank spotty box with a red squiggle on preview.
