Damn! From the title I thought we'd got a decent football thread at last. Excellent pictures though.

Nice one Barrington ...
You've reminded me that I really do need to visit Liverpool - only ever been once and that was just to the docks ...
Would love to go and hear the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic as well.

Nice! The sky in the background of the wheel shot is fantastic. Did you use a polarising filter?

Cheers Chris , no I've never used filters , it was a very bright day and I had the exposure set to compensate and some post processing to take the glare off . I hoped you'd say that! I noted how clear and blue the sky round here at times yesterday and wished I had a camera with me and something interesting to point one at.

Very nice indeed Barry ... The new camera is obviously a great purchase.
Love the colours and resolution. I'm wondering if you could dial down the sharpening just a little bit, but may only be my taste!

I'm wondering if you could dial down the sharpening just a little bit, but may only be my taste! I need to view my photos on a better monitor as mine isn't very crisp , I like sharp images but I always worry that they are not too sharp , although saying that I'm also on a photo forum where they don't hold back and nobody has mentioned it about my shots as yet . The camera produces very sharp images as it is but I do tweak slightly .
