Excellent. There is something missing though. You need a system in there - how else are you going to bring the poor nipper up properly? Also, you are going to be spending an awful lot of time in there and you need to be able to create the right mood for nappy changing. That's what I would be telling my wife, anyway!

Don't worry, already been bugging wifey about a system in there... not going down too well at the moment though, LOL.

It's time for the "I must have misread something, I thought it was a Sonos baby monitor system darling" conversation.

It's time for the "I must have misread something, I thought it was a Sonos baby monitor system darling" conversation. Love it Paul, good idea, maybe I could put some speakers in there and cover them in a Winnie the Pooh teddy, she'll never notice/care then

If there is a small of paint lingering cut an onion open to rid the smell Thanks, wifey is very artistic like that, she has completed a whole tonne of cross-stitch pictures that will be going up in the Nursery too, Winnie the Pooh centric of course. Good tip - we have had the windows open continuously since the weekend which helps, and the paint we chose doesn't appear to be as bad as some I have come across.

Great job Paul by you and the mrs .. One practical question - are you going to be doing the nappy changing on top of the chest of drawers? We ended up buying a changing table which was great in saving our backs from punishment ...

You do realise of course that the last pic is jumping the gun a bit? You shouldn't have pooh on your carpet already.

Just be careful that baby doesn't roll off it. They can wriggle like you wouldn't believe and one moment of distraction...

Martin makes a very good point there Paul - changing tables come with raised pieces of wood on both sides to prevent baby slipping off - nothing wrong with using the top of the chest of drawers but maybe attach a piece of wood running along the exposed edge ...

I remember sitting my baby daughter on the edge of our bed while I got something from a drawer , she was bouncing , one , two , three and then about to hit the floor headfirst , don't now how I did it but in one movement dived grab her arm and spun her in the air to land in the middle of the bed , phew , still haven't told the wife 20 years later

I confess to dropping my youngest brother down the stairs when he was a baby. Really.. Fortunately he bounced well. My mum wasn't too impressed Not recommended

Added the curtains today. Probably need to iron them, but they look good.
