One of my other hobbies is racing classic motocross bikes. I race in the Pre60 and Pre65 classes.
Here is me in action on my Pre60 Tri-BSA at Maylandsea last year.

I haven't heard of that place for years (i take it we are talking Essex here). My uncle used to have a static caravan down on a field near the Creek. My elder brother and sisters were evacuated down there from London during the war and we used to go there for holidays for the first five or six years of my life. Used to play on the derelict boats and collect fossilised crabs.
I got my taste for milk puds down there. The local cafe used to do fantastic rice pud and I always got double helpings.
Its probably a marina or something now. Google maps shows a few boats lined up but the mudflats look very familiar.

Yep, it's the same Maylandsea.
When I first visited Maylandsea it was unmade roads with timber dwellings, like giant beach huts. These days it is modern brick houses.
Lawlings farm is where we ride, usually twice a year, and it's down by the river, Maldon side. Not sure about a marina as I don't go that far.
