Unfortunately the link's not working - perhaps it got a bit wet? I feel sure it will dry out and correct itself later today though. In the meantime, you can find a link to it on the site news page and here's the text of the article with today's The Amazing Sushi (TAS) flavoured spin on it.

Funny, they said that the same time last year, and nothing came of it...

You might want to replace the carpridge mis-spelling in the link to Cartridge. Happy April fools.

Developed by Bill Lear, founder of the Learjet Corporation. Invented the battery eliminator too.

Up until my last house move, I still had a couple of 8-track cartridges. Wish I'd kept them now, if only for going on display.

Never actually seen one. Found out about the Lear Jet connection Googling for John Lear, Bill's son, veteran pilot ace, now retired from flying. Big name in the UFO community now from agencies he's worked for and connections made over the years. He has a website dedicated to the subject: www.thelivingmoon.com

When I worked as an engineer for B.T. in The City, back in the seventies, I built a "music on hold" system for our key and lamp unit... ...using an 8-Track player. I can remember that we had Cream, Osibisa, and Deep Purple carts among others now lost in the mists of time and memory. The main problem was that customers kept ringing up with requests.
