I got some cheap so called audiophile fuses from Romania They give a slight improvement in terms of treble and I had to lower my bass to make up for the increase in volume

Some minor system tweaks Black Ravioli Big pads on the Temple monos And now four Big pads on on the A22 instead of 3. The sticky pads are now on my grounding boxes I now have 3 grounding boxes on my spur which feeds the DAC and Behringer The plan at some point is to put them into 1 box. I think I pushed the grounding as far as I can and have the isolation pretty much at the max now. Improvements a larger sense of dimensionality bass has even more impact I only just put this on the system so perhaps will notice more changes.
I just moved to YouTube via Bluetooth Ohh boy the system rocks

A small system change I have been meaning to change my rack for some time, but even though I bought one I had not taken the time to change everything. The rack is wood based as opposed to glass based a slight difference in colour of the tone. I might drill a few holes for some of the cables to make the cabling.

Good to get it all on a single rack, John.

Listening to music today I can hear tape hiss. Everything I throw at it just sounds good. With the wooden rack the soundstage l is even deeper it tends to pick up more on ambience and tonal colours

Yes, I've been aware of tape hiss too, I think I mentioned it a while back. Also studio noise in some recordings.

One of the improvements is I am often playing music louder without the need to turn it down aa it is so clear.

I have put in a SR purple fuse into the A22 early stages so far but has added depth and detail,so far only listened to Spotify and only been in the system just over a hour. I will reserve judgement until a few days.

The fuse took a few hours to settle in I am now hearing another level of detail especially on keyboards the timbre and sense of separation has improved. Pretty similar to what Martin has reported

Like Martin I wonder is the fuse acting as some kind of filter for electrical noise. It seems to be the only thing that makes sense to the extra detail I am hearing. For the first hour I was wondering what all the fuss was about. This could be that if I disconnect and then reconnect the RTZ it takes a bit of time for the sound to settle. For me something like this is worth putting in a well sorted system and you want to improve sound quality further. Like the grounding box it is mainly just letting the system to perform closer to its potential. Since getting the grounding boxes, the system development has been about improving space timbre and detail. The SR fuse is taking this journey further. It looks like I will get one more fuse for the mains plug feeding the Furetech mains distribution block to the DAC and Behringer.
