I thought this thread was going to be about Billy Bragg and Simply Red getting back out on the road... I saw Simply Red last year at the Newbury Racecourse and Mick Hucknell looked terrible, so, so old and with far too much work!

I liked their first album Picture Book before anyone had heard of them. After that, they went downhill in my opinion.

I had to endure a few nights of them when they were playing Birmingham NEC back in 1990 when I worked there. I was down the front right in front of the stage, so whenever I looked up, I got a not too pleasant view up MH's top, with his guy hanging over his trousers... Wish I could afford to go to the Leftism tour - I'm afraid gigs are out at the moment
