Ouch, that's going to take some repair even if it's worth it.

It is such a shame it could be done but a complete strip down and fix chassis then repays, the the granite front ouch I will have to drill and fix studs. This makes me weep to see just a bloody shame. Time to fix about 40hrs parts ?? Scrap value ? pity

Colin i bought one of your 'ID25' Class 'A' power amps when they came out. These TOCA jobbies much different circuit design? I know there was an 'ID50' & 'ID75' but naturally wanted the lower powered amp. Never bought the matching Pre amp tho.

Hey Bird,
Lots of different ideas and a true SECA like my new amps, but no super duper regulated PSU as in the new design, shame some of today monster parts were not available in the 1980-1992. It was based on a Elsdon Wonfor Design from the early 1980s, The 300W TOCA was made because Nelson said he a made the biggest SECA at 55W and being a Brit I could not leave it there could I ?

Col: Can you remind me what the Inca Design match pre amp was called for the 'ID-25'/'ID-50'/'ID-75'? Totally gone out of my head!

Well the beasty is nearly all back together with new caps and FET,s 10off plus a few other bits, repainted after I bashed all the metal work as flat as I can. So early next week I will fire it up and see if all is well. phew it was hard work and heavy, cutting a re-taping heatsinks, fixing right angle brackets and now to sort the front out. Will post pics soon.
