The first time such a thing has existed on earth. Although we are a long way from creating usable samples, the conductivity alone looks fascinating. I'm sure it will revolutionise many aspects of life given time and development. www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-38768683

Ideal for audiophile fuses. Might actually revolutionise audio quality from cabling to circuits to components.

What is an 'Audiophile' Fuse? An audiophile fuse is
A) A fuse of such special material that it enables a wonderous (positive) transformation of sound quality whilst maintaining the ability to blow if the certified load is exceeded.
B) A fuse sold at very high cost to get the maximum profit from gullible hi-fi enthusiasts.
The fuse may be A), or B), or a combination of the two.

Isn't hydrogen in metallic state known to exist at the centre of stars? Mind you, a tad difficult to get to...

Saw that today as well. It's now being touted as the most expensive material on Earth,
Perfect for fuses then....
