Or, depending on how you look at it, you might just see it as VPI's latest model!

No mention of the Sugarcube vinyl ripper thing that I've been hearing a lot about and people seem to like. www.sweetvinyl.com

No, but I'm glad to see that the excellent Elac speaker range continues to grow.

No mention of the Sugarcube vinyl ripper thing that I've been hearing a lot about and people seem to like. www.sweetvinyl.comThat really interests me. Thanks for the link, Chris. Problem is, scanning through the website, I can't find any info on price. Do you know what it costs and if so, what is it please?

From memory, Greg, I think it was originally about 3 or 4K US dollars but it's now somewhere around 2. They may have dropped a feature or two to get to that price but what you see on the website is the current model.

Oh really! Even at $2K they're having a laugh. Sorry, not for me. I've got a basic converter that I bought a while ago that will do it all albeit being a bit fiddly. Thank you, I'll stick with that.

Well yes, I thought it was a bit pricey too, but lots of people are saying some very good things about it. The clean up software seems to be being particularly praised.

I would prefer it to have no noise removal software. Clean the record, transcribe.
