I've found the spec for the Cheviots online and 30kg appears to be the general consensus. Steve @ Electric Beach made this X2 set especially for me and my Cheviots and although we did have one of the 16 fail, I returned it to him, he repaired it and it didn't fail again. Just to be safe, I'd say that 25kg is probably a safe limit...

Thanks for posting this experience Brian - it's one thing to consider the possible improvement when you first evaluate a change, but the most telling result is when you miss something when it's taken away. And no placebo effect, etc as you didn't know the cause yet noticed the system sounded different. They are only light construction devices chaps, really intended for lighter weight cases with inherent resonance. Pushing their use to large speakers was an experiment and agreed, a step too far. However they proved quite effective under heavier electronics using just one under the lightest point and keeping the weight on existing feet. I'm due a visit to you to get my fix on your system James, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms

I have plenty of emails between Steve @ Electric Beach and myself discussing the development and use of them under my speakers. Sure 25-30kgs is at their max limit, but if they didn't work under heavier loads, I wouldn't trust them under my £2K speakers

Lucky man Steve , I would love to hear James system .
I found that the Rock N' Rollers were most effective under things like CD players and music servers which have lighter cases . I tried them under a big Sony ES amp and the effects weren't so pronounced . However , when they work , they work , and they provide an improvement which can't be obtained by anything else at this price point ( well not that I know of anyway )

Thanks for the compliments chaps, don't know what to say. Steve, I'm in the States for Christmas but home after 31st. I'm home most of the time at the mo, but if you wait a little while I'll have my new speakers made. Or come round before and after 👍🏾👍🏾

Definately John The finished speakers should look something like these I have just bought the EXTREMELY rare Isophon tweeter, they basically never come up for sale, I have been looking constantly for at least two years, but just hit the jackpot. I quickly put them in my Lampizator P17s and really enjoying them. I have the other drivers but not the Tesla 15" bass driver, but they are £600 delivered and I'm struggling to justify that at the moment. Your recormendation John are about £520 delivered plus the price of a DSP digital amp, but we shall see what happens. What sort of date is good for you mate?
