After a prolonged bout of decorating I finally got the system back together again the other day . During this time I've thought that the system was sounding a bit '' off '' . Tonight I remembered that I hadn't put my Rock N' Rollers back under my server . Within minutes of listening to a favourite track ......music restored . Lord knows how or why these things work . They just do

I have no idea what these are?
Sand covered brothel creepers for amplifiers?

They are isolation feet. They are very reasonable in cost and when Martin Mike and myself tested them the only isolation feet that where better where the Black Ravaoli which are about 3 times the price, beating a few other feet that where a lot more expensive

They just do Can't be, Brian - they're "only wood scraps and spray paint"... apparently Must be your new room treatment burning in... Only telling it how it is Steve . I've had these under my music server for a long time now and when I rebuilt my system there was an element of forwardness and hardness to the sound which I didn't like . I persevered until I looked in a box and found your Rock N' Rollers which I had forgotten to put back under the server . Once they were in position the hardness disappeared and the slight forwardness receded slightly and the soundstage grew somewhat . If I find something that works I will post it on the forums I am a member of . Whether people choose to try them , at their very modest price point , is up to them . In my opinion the Rock N' rollers work superbly well in my system , and that's all that matters to me in the end (:

Rock n rollers are great value for money.
Supports are one of those things that leave you scratching your head at the improvements to sound.

Supports are one of those things that leave you scratching your head at the improvements to sound. So very true. Leave nothing unturned in placing every component carefully to maximise damping and/or isolation.

Funny the things we now take for granted.
Value per pound spent is superb

I've got a set of the older type if anybody would like to borrow and try them and had them under a pair of Tannoy Cheviots and custom stands. I also currently have the latest iteration between my AN-E's and their stands

Just to add, when I had a pair of Cheviots, here they are in situ. However, I would add (and Steve @ Electric Beach wouldn't mind my saying) they were at the very limit of their weight supporting capacity I've also used three under my TD125 Mk.II and the only reason I've recently replaced them was the lack of being able to level the deck...
