I make no apologies for stealing the idea and the title of this thread from HFS, and from "guy" who was the OP there, because it's a good idea for a thread and it's nice to see a thread full of "positives" for a change...unless strangling kittens makes you smile, but if it does I'd advise keeping quiet about it anyway. It can be an idea, a joke, a funny-cat video (despite the fact that those bloody kittens should be...errr...anyway) a state of mind, a Far Side cartoon, something you're looking forward to, anything, basically, that puts a smile on your face and is at least mostly legal.
Here's my current one to kick things off...

A salt beef sandwich with pickles and good horseradish sauce on homemade bread in preparation for soldering my new hand wound pickups, all the way from Russia, to the new (Dave Gilmour type) wiring loom/scratchplate and installing the result in my latest purchase, a black Squier Vintage Modified 70s Strat

I prefer positive threads too.
I'm smiling right now at the quality of sound that's coming through my system via Spotify on my Rasp. Pi. Then, when I think about what it cost - about 1/44th of the new cost of the CD player whose DAC it is being routed through, my grin gets even bigger.

A rare day at work yesterday, away from the office and out to the woods - first time in weeks.

Nice. I must take a photo at work, the grounds are lovely and a warming sight at times of stress!
