Evening all - just signed up to hopefully widen my horizons/knowledge in this hi-fi stuff.
Majority of my listening is digital streaming - been using a variety of SqueezeBox Servers for a number of years now - now all Raspberry Pi based.
Also have a healthy vinyl collection which I should try to listen to more often.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to TAS! You'll find lots about Pi streaming here.
What record playing gear do you have?

Just working my way through the 46 pages of the Pi streaming thread - interesting stuff.
As for the vinyl system I have: Inspire Hifi Quest Rega Upgrade (using an RB250 arm with Ortofon 2M Red) Firebottle Phono Stage

Hi Dave and welcome on board - what sort of music are you in to?

Well I'm listening to an Eat Static RadioZora broadcast at the moment - mixture of dub/world music/dance stuff on this one.
On the other hand I like bands like Clutch (off to see them in Manchester later this month), Fu Manchu, The Pixies, The Wildhearts, a whole host of what are classed 'Black/Death Metal' bands.
Then I can listen to Ozric Tentacles, Led Zep, James BlackShaw, Loop.

Hi Dave, good to see you here - I used to see all the metal bands at the Manchester Apollo back in the day - happy times!

First gig was at Manchester Apollo - Hawklords. Then there was UFO at the Free Trade Hall - happy days indeed
