That's my only issue with it: we either do it properly, which is a great deal of work, or not at all.

Tell me about it! Creating and maintaining a reference section does require hard work if it is to be done properly, as Chris and I have both found.

I find the notion daunting, but am willing to have a go if and when the time is right.

Yes, Barry and I sweated a good bit working on The Knowledge at AoS - it really requires time and effort. It's a bit early for TAS, I think.
