Music, pretty much anything. I had a chance to sit down and listen to something for the first time in about a week this afternoon.
Listened to dire straits first album and then Mozart piano concerto no 21.
Kit, no preferences at all any more.
Im currently using a jbe series 3 slate turntable with a heavily modified rb251 and an audio technica at-f7 mc cart,
A musical fidelity xlps s,
A passive pre,
An img stageline sta 152 p/a amp as a power amp and my metronome speakers
I also have another 8 turntables in the house, a valve amp I built, and loads of other stuff in various states of disassembly.
So no preference anymore, whatever sounds nice

Ant has many skills particular to our hobby.
Perhaps he will post a picture of an Ant modified Lenco, or one of his custom (made to order) plinths.
The workmanship is very professional.

Here it is  And something I'm working on at the moment  The air bearing arm isn't mine, a friend has very kindly loaned it to me. This was just to see if it would fit. I will be trying it on the jbe first as the lenco isn't remotely finished yet Cheers ant |
