B&W have made a list of their top 50 albums, from both sound quality and musical points of view. Well 49 actually.I found it quite entertaining for a while to try and guess what the albums were just from their one sentence description and date of release. For example:
Some of the deepest pulsing bass on record. Rattle your room. And maybe your skull. Aug 2003
There's the prize of a pair of headphones for choosing the 50th one.

Yes, I played a few yesterday, including the Fred Neil, which is great. This was interesting too:
Album No. 40 - St Germain - 'Tourist'

For me, Moondance was always far superior to Astral Weeks.

Well, I emphasise that this is totally my individual view, but considering the company and their kit, why would anyone take their playlist seriously?

Furthermore, have you ever engaged with any of their cheap suited staff at a show? Absolutely mind numbing. Loads of them in a big room with probably one of the worst demonstration sounds I have ever heard, and not just on one occasion, but over repeated years. The fact that they continue to survive, banging out new kit and employing droids, inclines my belief that this, the ultimate subjective hobby, examples all that is very wrong with the industry. Really, it fathoms me to contemplate that B&W are still around. They must have some very clever accountants IMO.

So, can we take it that you're not too keen on B&W speakers then Greg? A lot of people do like them. I'd say that might have more to do with their success than a little creative accounting.
Does being involved in the manufacture of speakers that are not to your taste necessarily preclude them from making valid and interesting album recommendations?
