Kia ora I have stumbled in here from Lencoheaven, where I have been dumb for quite some time (still no Lenco). I make myself known here in case I have something to contribute, or not. My interests are mainly in vinyl playback with vintage (low capital outlay) gear. I am looking forward to being a member of such an interesting forum.

Hi and welcome! It's great that you found us. Even if you're not actively taking part in the field of vintage record playing, it's a fascinating subject, so I expect that anything you have to say on the matter will be much appreciated. Have a poke around - make a post or two, start a thread or two - you'll be fine!
Cheers

Big dog and big deck - well both biggish, they weigh in at the same anyway, 25kg-ish. Meet my garrard 401 and Poppy, say hello Poppy. The angle is funny (and Poopy doesn't like her photo being taken) makes the TT look a bit wee - but it is a hunk of slate as a top-plate, wrapped up in a thick heart rimu skirt. More industrial than lovely.
