Did the cat improve the sound? Nice idea for a bit of damping.

The dogs at pinkie towers were on fine form today, for a visit from a friend of jules68 (I think. Classical Julian with the whiskey glass). Ferocious welcome from keisha was greeted with a very timid "are they safe"? Never sure how to answer that. Safe you won't be bitten - yes. Safe they won't try to wrap themselves round your legs and pester you to throw their ball - no. Emphatically no!

My sister has Brittanys Chris. She's on her 4th - a rescue from Spain called Luvia (pronounced Lubia), and another callled Mouche . High energy dogs! Thank heavens she wasn't named Labia, that could be a mite embarrassing when out on a Sunday stroll around the park...

Gordon, What a fine lot! Affection for cats and dogs need not be mutually exclusive, even between the cats and dogs in question. Plus of course, cats are SO much more intelligent than dogs No. My old ginger moggie Buzz was the sweetest animal ever, but a bit dim. My current pooch Tippy (the Lurcher) is so canny, he knows exactly what I'm about to do at ALL times. Amazingly smart dog.

Lee Roy is top of the tree in our house. Not sure how but he ALWAYS manages to get his way. A true skill neither the dog or I have mastered.

Just cleaned out the dogs auto-waterer before we go away and leave them in the capable hands of my step-son. Does anyone else use these? I've been using one for 15 years now and can never understand why I don't see more of them. We know the dogs cannot run out of clean fresh drinking water ever, whether we are there or not

I've just washed it out - hence the wet! Edit: this nice new one has a plug in the bottom so you can slosh water round and drain it out. The old zinc one used to need to be removed from the wall which was a serious ballache

Never even seen one of those. Couldn't leave our mutt anywhere, anyway. Apart from being a bit antisocial we would just take him. I do realise that's not the case for everyone of course and that looks like a great solution to the problem.

Our dogs drink from anything first and the supplied bowls last Muddy puddle, ditches with oxides floating in them, swimming pool with chlorine, plant pot bases with dirt and leaves. Oddly enough when we clean out a water bowl and put fresh water in there is often a queue

This time of year is hell for the cats because the fleas they do bite. We never like the chemical approach so every evening, its the flea comb and a glass of hot soapy water. - four times!! This is Orange.fr being highly stressed by the whole procedure

Here are ours… this one is called Tigger and he came into our lives about 6 months ago when we 'accidentally' visited Cat's Protection... and here are his older siblings, Amber and Arthur and they are real brother and sister… My plan is to ultimately have 4 so 1 to go… just need to convince wifey Paul.
