I just saw that on the news. The simple answer is "no, of course it isn't, it's only stuff." but I suppose at a certain point the fight or flight mechanism clicks in...and some people make the wrong choice.

Sadly hindsight is always 20:20. I wouldn't routinely expect to be stabbed. Just shocking that such things happen

The Kenneth Noy story was a warning to us all. Young man he stabbed to death after road traffic altercation was a boxer and won a fist fight over the matter. Noy went back to his vehicle and returned with a knife.
So many rules broken, primary one being "never under estimate your opponent".

Let them have it. Unless you're going to go into something like that full force i.e. Prepared to kill then don't bother.
Kenny Noye was a different kettle of fish though - there's a bit more to that story but he was a premier division criminal who had killed a cop before then got away with it. God only knows how many killings he's responsible for.
