Jerry is right, they are LED uplighters. They are lighting up the wall behind. I don't need any other light when listening.

Some new photos taken today. Displays turned on for the photos, they are usually off. Middle-left PS Audio P3 regenerator, bottom-left PS Audio P10 regenerator, middle-right Burson AB-160 XLR buffer, bottom-right Belles SA-100 power amp. Left Coherent QP-1 supercap power supply, rear centre Black Ravioli Eflos USB grounding box, right Asus Tinker Board S streamer. Top Mutec MC-3 USB reclocker and Black Ravioli Eflos phono grounding box, bottom LKS MH-DA004 DAC. How does the Asus do as a streamer

Very well indeed, Oliver. With more processing power and a better USB interface than a Pi, running Volumio it's a superior streamer in every way. The Mutec then takes that better USB output and reclocks it for a highly accurately clocked stream to the DAC over AES.

It's very easy, Oliver. Buy an Asus Tinker Board S and metal case (unless you insist on using wi-fi which I don't recommend). Download your favourite build for the Tinker Board, in my case Volumio. Burn it to microSD card and boot the Asus up with a 5V PSU. Access the GUI via any phone/tablet/laptop, configure it for USB output to your DAC. Play music from your NAS, Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal, web radio etc.
There are plenty of more detailed instructions elsewhere and there is a thread on this forum.

I plan on adding a new dac to my system but wondered how I was going to keep the streaming aspect going. This could be a solution

For not very much money you'll have a very well performing streamer that will keep up with the times as Volumio is always being developed.

I am not good with computers and I found it easy. Plenty of people to advise and quite easy to get more out of the board.

Are you running a file based system or streaming via a service?
Just wondered if there was a potential issue using it with a SSD?

The only thing that took a bit of time was getting my Tinker into its metal case!
Rest of the set-up was a breeze ...

I'm using Qobuz streaming, others are using a NAS or a locally connected drive. There should be no problems indexing music on an SSD or HD connected via USB.

Thank you gentlemen
I will look into it further.
Possibly gonna get a Topping D90 and see how my PecanPi fares against it.

I can vouch for the performance of the D70, so if it's similar or better you shouldn't be disappointed ...

The D90 is well-rated a bit more sparkle up top according to a review I saw on YouTube
