How many more JS-2s will work that well in your system ? I haave one more AfterDark clock (the 1st stage one), so potentially one more. I had thought about it already, but it'll wait until next year. Guess I might have to add it to my 2024 predictions!

I have a suggestion for footers to trial. Stack Audio Auva. I have a set of Auva 70 under my speaker stands, and Auva EQ under my Puritan PSM156. UK based, 30 day return. stackaudio.co.uk/auvaeq/

I know Black Ravioli are now pricy, but there isn't really anything to touch them.
I've just ordered 4 Big Pads for the JS-2 power supply.
EDIT: Ive just checked and the Auva are more expensive than Black Ravioli. Has anyone compared them directly?

They're not cheap, but I am rather taken aback by the results.

Alex of Uptone offers some pointers as to why the sound quality of the JS-2 is so good...
The above plus, what he doesn't mention here, that choke-regulated PSUs only feature low level sinewave as ripple rather than spiky noise, makes a great deal of sense.
My regenerators help that performance even further, as I set them for tight regulation, not lowest noise, which further lowers output impedance.

So it even sorts out the electricity coming all the way from the power station

I have not tried the Auva, but have tried the isoacoustic against black ravioli and the black won. In this video he compares the Aura to isoacoustic and the Aura are better. Seems you are perfectly positioned to order some and give them a try to answer that question. 😀😀

No, given the close pricing and my experience of BR, and the fact that my entire system uses it, and they work extremely well, I shall not be trying Auva. Someone else can do that.
I do agree with the reviewer about the importance of isolation, and not just from the speaker output. Noise and vibrations are emanating from the ground all the time. That's why I have three levels of isolation for the most sensitive components.
By the way, hi-fi can sound better at night for another reason: power quality.

I have the Auva EQ, but yet to compare the two.

Today I should receive four Black Ravioli Big Pads for the Uptone JS-2 PSU. It already has an SR Orange fuse, Coherent 6D power cable and Uptone Sapphire DC cable (a very nice sounding star-quad cable).
In another few days I should receive a Canare 4S8G OFC star-quad DC cable from Ghent Audio (for the Coherent QP-2 powering the router) to replace the freebie DC power cable. This will bring it more into line with the other DC cables in quality.

The JS-2 is now on the four Black Ravioli Big Pads after I removed the fuse block and treated that to graphene (which I had forgotten to do yesterday as the fuse was the first thing I installed). Now then, 14g I think stellabagpuss said? It's going into my dedicated 60A consumer unit for the system, behind the lid and against the breakers.

I applied one measured sachet (14g) of the RS behind the flip lid in front of the breakers. That's it for tonight. It sounds balanced, but then that often happens. I'll give it time.
Now I really need to let the JS-2 burn-in, and the RS to have its effect (or not).

...and the Rochelle Salt sachet is removed again. Way, WAY, too much dulling of the gorgeous treble since I put the JS-2 PSU in place. I'll listen some more without it, but I have the strange feeling this might go the way of the RFI paint. We'll see.
EDIT: it is remarkable how much effect it has, though. It could work really well for an eye-wateringly bright system.

If it's dulled it, reduce the amount in the bag, or move a inch or so away, this is exactly what happened with placement in the R26,when placed inside. This is the beauty of the experiment, you can reduce it in seconds, any results are instant.

I'll try it when I have more time to mess around. However, I do love the sound without it!
