My neighbour has just been given a reclining armchair. It is electric, but has no mains lead with it. The connector is the one in the picture which is new to me. Any idea where she could source a lead from ? Thanks.

Deltron do metal bodied 2 Pin Din plugs..
Round Pin is Signal Positive/Flat Pin is Negative..

Last time I saw plugs like that they were loudspeaker connections to an Armstrong 625 receiver.(when I were but a lad)

They were still being used relatively recently on cheap midi systems etc.

I've just ordered a pair of those plugs, thanks Martin - strangely my turntable uses this connection for its PSU and the plug hasn't been secure for a while ...
