A wife at work was on holiday in Sweeden a couple of months ago. She was a bit taken aback at how expensive everything was compared to here. She mentioned she was thinking of getting her hair done, but changed her mind when seeing how much it was. Here it would cost her £15 but there it was £76.
With this in mind, it had me wondering how much a man's haircut varies here in the UK. I pay £7 but give £10 and have done for quite a number of years.

Good question I always pay £15 to give a small tip but I believe it is £12 standard price.

It also had me wondering what the average wage in Sweeden must be.

I had a girlfriend some years ago who would travel to Kensington and pay £150 to have her hair done (highlights and stuff). I could never understand it.

My last cut in China was £1.64 when you convert currency. Here £6.50 for a clipper cut a few days ago and I gave her £6.50 cos I'm a tight arse! If I get a proper haircut I tip, but a #4 clipper cut can be done in minutes with no skill or care needed.

It cost me $32 for my son's last haircut at a barber shop and $20 for a cut and shampoo at the local Asian hairdressers for me. The cheapest haircut I've had was $10. You paid at a vending machine and waited till they called your number. Cheap but the worst haircut I've had (and I need all the help I can get).
