I have been playing about with Hi-Fi for well over 30 years. Quite recently i came to the realisation that i have gotten nowhere without being totally unhappy with most systems i had bought over the last 20 years.. Lucky for me i retained the Turntable & amp i bought back in the early 80's.
After a good old session with the old boys the penny dropped, realising i was happiest with the old equipment. hours & hours i can sit listening to the music with no distractions from the old system..
I am now looking to completing a system i had back then, Nothing flashy but sounds wonderful to my ears. I always stood by what i said about advancements in Audio do not equate to advancements in real sound quality imho..
