Apparently from theoretical studies astrophysicists expected far more colliding neutron stars than colliding black holes - but 2 out of 2 gravitational events detected so far have been black holes.

So much for theory.

This is a photo of it I took from my back garden.

I keep meaning to send it off to them as I think they may be interested, but I haven't got around to it yet.
