physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/2016/jun/15/ligo-detects-second-black-hole-mergerApparently from theoretical studies astrophysicists expected far more colliding neutron stars than colliding black holes - but 2 out of 2 gravitational events detected so far have been black holes. So much for theory. This is a photo of it I took from my back garden. I keep meaning to send it off to them as I think they may be interested, but I haven't got around to it yet.

I think you got the exposure wrong...

"The collision and subsequent merger released approximately one solar mass of energy, which was radiated away as gravitational waves."
Apply e=mc2 to that!
Unimaginable!

They make all this stuff up, don't they - they know it's unlikely anyone can prove they're wrong !

The classic irresistible force meets immovable object similar to watching XXX and YYY hand-bagging each other in an Asda car-park on a busy Saturday afternoon in Croydon, now where did I put my camera?
MOD: can't allow it, Tony, funny as it may be!
