The police forces in the US have just ordered a couple of hundreds of BMW i3. I think that our police force is only impressed by BHP, whilst the Americans are after quicker acceleration times.

Our local police used Impreza's for a while - ideal chase cars.
I was told though that the main reason police use Fords/Vauxhalls is that they get huge discounts on them.

I've seen the Porsche 911 police cars in Belgium. They certainly strike a pose!
