I'd ask the supplier.

I've not seen ones quite like that before. There must be a trick to it.

From what I can see they're SAC Audio 'Snap-Seal' plugs, designed to convert RG6/U co-ax to audio cable usage. They are used in conjunction with a C2004 'SNAP-SEAL` Triple Pocket Crimp Tool. I could only find a video for the Belden branded plugs. Google is your friend.

Yes, there is a trick to it! They are watertight RCA plugs and they don't come apart.
Firstly, the title of the thread is incorrect. There's an 'n' missing from 'sap'. The plugs should come with a little end cap that goes onto the centre core of a coaxial cable. You prepare the cable by stripping the correct length of outer insulation - 9mm. You fold back the braided screen over the outer insulator and then strip 2.5mm of the inner insulation. Crimp the end cap onto the centre core, taking care not to distort it too much. Then push the cable into the hole in the back of the plug until it SNAPS into place. That's why it's called a Snap Fit Phono Plug!

I've amended the title. So, only for RG6/U cable, then?

I bought the appropriate tool chaps and it is then easier to fit than standard plugs. Great for making 75ohm extension cables.
