This thread will do.  There was another about forum problems, which included the one I am about to report, but it has also been running very slow

I have just cleaned with c cleaner, and it is now running smoothly as I type - but it has been fast and slow with no obvious pattern for the last week I have been visiting
Was definitely slow before the clean - is definitely fast now after it.

2 other issues, I will reinvestigate now I am "clean"

I went to quote Wonky on my Android device and got gobbly-de-gook .  So I assumed it was an Android issue and came here to my PC (Windows 7, Firefox).  I got the same problem - script where his Avatar should be and no quote box separate from the area to type into.  So I tried quoting Martin, and there was no issue - his Avatar was correct, the quote box was separate, I could have posted a comment, but I opted for a separate post

On the Android, if I quote, my text by default is in the quoted text.  When I quote on the PC all is as it should be

And finally - the original thread I was looking for, frequently, particularly on the 2nd page of "Recent" the link to the last (or any other post) doesn't work, and to read that post it is necessary to click on the original thread post and then navigate to last.  Not a show-stopper, but tiresome

I have to say, having paused for breakfast mid-post, this is now running like greased lightening, so maybe a cache clean or whatever C cleaner did will fix other things when I look next.  (A bit annoying to have lost my links to recent / frequent web-sites and to have to log back onto the forum again.  Nothing is perfect
