I have fond memories of the early Cyrus amps. Although I never owned one I always enjoyed listening to them and I've always admired that iconic design. So interesting to see that the Cyrus One is back, in a rather different guise of course. Outwardly it retains a similar design aesthetic but it's very different on the inside - 2 x 100W class D, bluetooth, headphone amp, mains filtering etc I don't think anyone here is the 'target market' though - apparently it's aimed at the 18-30 who are "design-led, feature and interface driven" ... They also need to be willing to shell out 700 notes. www.cyrusaudio.com/products/one-series/cyrus-one

Judging by their designated target demographic Cyrus have finally emerged into...errr...the nineteen-eighties. Now, where are those yuppies?

My word that's a stunning piece of design. Very much like a 2016 Onix OA21 but still true to the orginal. £700 isn't a lot these days.

I thought Onix when I saw it too. It's got it's skirt tucked into it's knickers at the back though!

As a previous Cyrus One owner I like it and I would buy it again, in fact I want to hear it

£700 is cheap compared to a Devialet amp.

I bought my cyrus one in 1988 for £180 if memory serves....wonder what equates to now? Loved it to bits...gave it away to neighbour a couple of years ago, still in working order apart from the on/off switch and the volume pot was a bit crackly.
New one looks great-wonder how it will compare to the likes of the rega brio!!!

Second hand Cyrus Ones often make more than £180 nowadays...
