To Tesla or not to Tesla that is the question, whether to suffer the outrageous fortunes of under performing magnetic field density or obtain bigger rare earth devices is that not the question?

I'll be interested in how these come together. I've got a pair of 15" Neos from Vic, but mated to Bastanis wide bands and Gemini tweeters on a bamboo open baffle. Are you adding a rear surround to the baffle for the Neos to extend the bass?

No need to add the rear surround on the baffle, sounds a lot better without it IMO (it helps increase bass db but just gets in the way of the drivers reaching their true potential) Bamboo a lovely looking material

I've been tempted to add rear surrounds but currently run without. The bamboo baffles were made from 3m of worktop, I did the design but used a professional family member for the lovely woodworking. The bamboo detail on all the exposed edges is beautiful.

Thanks for the advice on bass unit surrounds, I'll park that option.
I'll have to get the camera out and learn how to upload pictures of the baffles for you. I may be a while!
